Cleaning Wood and Laminate Floors
Never use Murphy Oil Soap or similar products to damp mop wood or laminated floors. Oil soaps leave a film on floors that often dull and damage the finish. Remove the film by mopping with one-half cup distilled white vinegar per gallon of water and a clean terry towel. Repeat with a second clean towel.
If the floor remains dull, unfortunately it must be refinished. Laminated floors cannot be refinished they must be replaced.
Never use excess moisture to damp mop laminated or hard wood floors. The moisture works between the boards and warps them.

Always mop with a terry towel and the Mary Moppin's Mary Moppins Mop
Damp mop both wood and laminated floors using 1/3 cup food grade distilled white vinegar per gallon of water. Wring out all excess moisture from your towel. Increase the amount of vinegar if you notice hard water spots on the floors. If your water is quite hard you may need to dry the floor.
