Cleaning Water Spots

Removing water spots from glass shower doors often turns into a tug of war. Water spots stubbornly refuse to be budged from shower doors. Remember once these spots settle onto any surface even vehicles, the alkali etches into the surface.Remove the spots by bringing straight food grade distilled white vinegar to a boil. Wear gloves and sponge onto the doors. Keep the doors wet with the vinegar for 30 to 45 minutes then scrub with a dampened White Scrubbie Pad. You can remove the white part of the water spot but the etching is there to stay.

Purchase a plastic squeegee and squeegee your entire shower after each use. Yes it takes about 3 minutes but it saves the time and elbow grease removing the spots. Once every four months apply Advantage to your shower walls and glass doors. Advantage contains polymers that coat a surface leaving it slick so nothing sticks. Polymers also protect your vehicle against UV ray damage. Water sheets down off the walls to help prevent those spots.
