Petroleum Jelly

Always clean a stain as quickly as possible and petroleum jelly is no exception. Petroleum jelly is an oil based product. The longer it sets the more difficult to remove the stain, which means it could become permanent. Clothing: Blot and apply CleanEz Wait 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse and repeat if necessary. Wood: Blot off what you can taking care not to spread the jelly. Pour on some cornstarch and wait an hour. Brush off and repeat if needed. Rinse with a barely damp towel. After the wood has dried treat it with Mary Moppins Wood Care Cleaner and Conditioner The table may need to be sanded and refinished if the jelly has set for any length of time.
